ACS LPG Fuel Changeover (CONGLP1) training and assessment
CITB certificated
A changeover domestic natural gas to liquid petroleum gas (LPG) course for gas engineers who want to be able to work on LPG in addition to natural gas.
Description
In order to work with LPG appliances and installations engineers must demonstrate their competence in this area. This course, covering permanent dwellings (PD) and residential park homes (RPH) will allow candidates to work on LPG as well as natural gas. If any appliance qualifications have already been gained on natural gas (e.g. CEN1/HTR1) it is then permissible to work on these in LPG as well. The assessment process requires candidates to demonstrate theoretical and practical understanding of LPG safety, so the course involves classroom-based and workshop-based activities.
Who it’s for
Experienced gas operatives who want to expand their offer to include LPG.
